About Legacy Entertainment
A Little History
Legacy Entertainment is owned and operated by Greg Higginbotham. Like many millennials, Greg was bitten by the video game bug at a time when video games were considered a "waste of time" and "money wasters." As video games became his passion, Greg also developed a knack for electronics. RadioShack became his second home.
While Greg was told he could never make a living playing video games by his high school counselor, he proved her wrong and got his first job at ShowBiz Pizza (now known as Chuck E. Cheese). There, he combined his love for video gaming and curiosity about electronics. Greg landed in the center of the video gaming boom by working as a head game tech and manager for various companies, including Malibu Grand Prix, Aladdin's Castle, Dave & Busters to name a few.
Aside from his experience in the field, Greg also earned a degree in electrical engineering. Although he knew how to repair most machines, learning the “how and why” enabled him to design, troubleshoot, and repair at a board level.
